Rik Emmett, Dave Dunlop and the Bay Street band: Men in Suits (featuring our own Stewart Borden) rocked together at the Hard Rock Cafe on February 7, 2008 to help raise funds for Deslisle Youth Services and the children, youth and families they support. Lazarus contributed $1,000 and a large group of Lazarus volunteers were on hand at this event not only to enjoy the music but also to gather addiitonal data on DYS and the work it does.

Deslile Youth Services has been helping children with mental health issues, multiple special needs and at-risk youth from across Toronto for over 35 years. DYS’s goal is to help youth that need support by enabling them to live, learn and grow, feel safe, and be encouraged to stay in school and to graduate with their peers.
